Two games came with blue posts and they sure look original to me. The
John Yates pictures on IPDB show blue posts as well. But the flyers
show red posts.
Note the flyer's center drop target decals though. they don't look the
same as what I have on my game or many others that I've seen that show
the forearm with lightning bolts in the hands with a blue background.
The Page 3 Flyer center drop target decals look like stars on a red
background. the targets look kind of dirty too with ball wear across
them. seems kind of strange (if true) since this is a promotional
flyer.
And what's with the flipper white rubbers? every game I've seen has
red ones. white on white seems kind of strange.

This is all just my conjecture.
If you look at Williams System 3 games (Contact, Disco Fever, Hot Tip,
Lucky Seven, World Cup), they all have red posts. Also, the red drop
targets with white stamped stars seem to be standard - they all have
them.
Pokerino, the first System 4, red posts & card stickers on targets.
Phoenix, red posts, red targets w/ stamped stars.
Along comes Flash. It gets made from the same components to start.
But they change the drop targets and make stickers. Probably,
somewhere during the (long) run they change to blue posts.
Look at the flyer for Stellar Wars - the next machine. It has Flash
drop targets! (Red posts though.)
Then Tri-Zone; red posts, stickers on targets.
I'm not going to go through the archive to find the first flyer w/
non-red posts but I bet it was before the end of the Flash run.
Does anyone know a source for new red drop targets stamped with white
stars and yellow banana flipper boots, BTW? Thanks!
