No sound on browser only

im using Chrome and mozilla....mostly chrome though, however i have lost sound on both browsers. I have sound on other applications just not the browsers. I noticed shortly after i ran malware and ccleaner

any help would be appreciated

You may have to go into hardware and sound and system sounds and enable the sounds for your browsers. Probably you'll have to select restore defaults.

My problem was... I did not have sound in both the FireFox Browser and the MS IE Browser, but I did have sound in the Google Chrome Browser. I fixed this problem by going to the Windows "Control Panel", clicking on [Flash Player (32-bit)], then clicking on the [Advanced] TAB at the top, and then clicking on [Delete All] under "Browser Data and Setting" (at the top). This immediately solved my sound problem in both browsers (FF and IE).
