I have a 3 Ghz processor with HT, 1GB Ram (2x512) (400Mhz each), 128MB
Geforce FX 5700 Ultra, 16X DVD-Rom Drive and these settings are way higher
than 'The Sims 2' minimum specification but still when im playing the game it
does not work smooth. The frame rate is not good, when i move around, it does
not go smoothly. I have left the display settings to default as, in the
manual it says that the default settings are what the game adjusts the
settings to be. I am currently using DVI connection, will changing it to
analog make any difference as the refresh rate supported on my monitor is
higher on analog than DVI. What is the possible cause and solution to this?

Hi Manu,

I've offered some advice in reply to your post in Windows XP games. :)

Cheers,
Jimmy.
