hey! i really need help in deciding between 2 lappy's that i narrowed down my search to[based on what i understand, but im open minded].they fit snugly in budget.
here are their specs

I would absolutely go with the Dell. I rarely need the extra space that you get on the Toshiba, and the graphic card, RAM, and the processor is better on the Dell. I think it's an easy decision.

I think both will give you a hard time playing Crysis, but I think you'll be good with the other stuff.

edit: ppl hate Dell, and for some legitimate reasons. I have personally owned three or four Dell and while I have had some problems, as long as you opt in for a warranty and stay firm with their tech-support you're safe. I'm guessing Toshiba is no different in many regards... just my two cents.

On a side note... a friend of mine recently bought a Dell Studio 15 and she says it's one sexy looking machine. She has an eye for those things. No, it doesn't have the appeal of an $1800 Apple laptop, but whatever... it doesn't look like a $300 Wal-Mart special either. I think that counts for something.
