I've noted several price checks and site reviews over the last several months, and conspicuously missing is the Barton XP 3000 400 chip. One reviewer actually lamented in his article over the fact there is only one 400 speed XP, the expensive 3200 chip. However, New Egg and a few other on line stores list the 400 speed XP 3000. And have listed it for quite some time. As I am very interested in this chip, I can't help but wonder what's going on here. Does anyone have any thoughts on this, or even better have they bought it and can elaborate on their experiences with it (especially overclocking). I noted one person on line say they thought that they were 3200 chips that didn't make the grade. -njrich2

A 2500+ Barton would give you same performance when you clock it at 200MHz FSB and it's much more cheaper than 3000+ and not to mention 3200+. For the price you pay for a 3000+ you can get P4 2.8C already...

Me fail English? That's Unpossible!
