New Gaming Laptop Question

Im getting a new laptop and have been considering a better card if I knew how well it would run some of the games i play; I've narrowed it down to two; One has an ATI 4670, another ATI 4650; I've had trouble finding benchmark tests for the cards and am not sure what would be the best; here are the specs:

Dell Studio 17:

The one i'm leaning toward has the ATI 4650 in it; 17'' 900p screen with Intel® Core™ i7-720QM Quad Core Processor 1.6GHz (2.8GHz Turbo Mode, 6MB Cache)with 4 gigs of DDR 3 memory which I will probably upgrade to 6gigs. I chose to go with two hard drives on this too; 640GB (2 x 320GB) Dual SATA Hard Drive (7200rpm)

Dell Studio XPS 16:

Has the new Edge-to-Edge FullHD Widescreen 16.0 inch RGBLED LCD (1920x1080) on it; CPU is different too; it's a Intel® Core™ i5-430M (2.26GHz, 4Threads, turbo boost up to 2.53Ghz, 3M cache) with an ATI 4670 graphics card and a 500GB 7200 RPM SATA Hard Drive

So i dunno. The 17'' screen would be nice especially for RTS games but my friend has the RGBLED and the quality is incredible.

One of the RTS games I really am hoping look good and run well is Empire Total War; I also like Company of Heroes and will probably be using this for Starcraft 2.

I also play Bad Company 2 and Mass Effect 2.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as its been forever since i've delt with this stuff.
