AMD Duron upgrade

I want to upgrade my cpu from 600 to a 900(Duron).My M/B is a Jetway 663AS, the Manual states it will support up to 750 and reserves support for future Duron processors.I have already tried to change over, but just got a blank screen. Do I have to change any settings or Bios in order to get it to work,or do i have to change the M/B.Any help or W/sites would be much appreciated.

Try finding the latest BIOS for your motherboard first before getting a new MOBO.
