Best Overclocking CPU?

Hi, I was wondering what the best CPU for overclocking is. I've been reading the forums for the past couple of days to try and find out what the best cpu for o/cing would be. Should I go with the Pentium 4 2.4c, 2.6c or 2.8c.
My future build.
Cpu - Pentium 4 2.4c,2.6c or 2.8c
Motherboard - Abit IC7-Max3
Ram - OCZ 2 X 512 PC4000 Gold Edition
Hard Drive - 36GB Western Digital Raptor
Roms - 52x Sony CD-Rom
Sound Card - Sound Blaster Audigy Gamer
Video Card - ATI Saphire Atlantis 9800 Pro 256mb (Might wait for 9800xt depends on price and performance)
Case - Koolance PC2-601BW Water Cooled Case
Power Supply - Antec Trueblue 480 Watt Power Supply ( Would I need a 500+ watt Power supply to effectively overclock my machine?)

Any and all tips about how to make my build better would be appreciated.

2.6C would get you to 3250@250MHz bus (CPU:RAM 1:1, QDR1000, DDR500). And you could try to overclock higher than that by pushing the memory a bit farther.

2.8C would do 3500@250MHz bus if you have reasonably good luck and a large enough cooler. That water cooling settup should do.

I wouldn't waste money on that Antec power supply. A Fortron 400W is nearly as powerfull. Instead, I'd go with the Fortron 530W unit at newegg, which is more powerfull than an Antec 550W while costing less than an Antec 430W. Wow! And the build quality is top notch!

Of course, 36GB isn't much, you'd do yourself a favor by having a cheaper large capacity IDE drive for storage, using the Raptor for programs.

Going with Antec Psu buy there True Power it's there best line for Psu.

Since Intel is talking about a cpu with 2 megs of cache, that would be the best by far.
