Can't install Windows

When I try to boot from my XP disc I keep getting an error messege that says
\i386\ntkrnlmp.exe could not be loaded. The error code is 4 setup cannot
continue press any key to exit. Any clues??

Jacalyn, take a look here. It could be a faulty Ram Module. You can
download MemTest and check the Ram.
