Flash drive problems

Hello, i just played a movie off of a flash drive of mine and after playing, the green bar across the 'computer' directory went across. I am using windows 7, but it deleted my entire flash drive and i have no idea why, I didnt tell it to do that or anything. I need this all back, will you tell me what i need to do to get this back? thanks in advance guys

You mean it delete you files? or did you ran a search and it come up empty?
