So I have been searching for a computer for a while and I have found a desktop I wouldn't mind buying for 1005$ but then I also have to buy a monitor and I was hoping for a Led monitor. So... I was wondering first is it more worth getting a laptop, seeing that it is easy to move and you can use it other places then just your home. What I would be using this laptop for would be playing crysis, mw2 and surfing the web some. My bugdet for a laptop is 1200$. So go with a desktop or laptop? And if I should go with a laptop does anyone got any idea of what laptop would be able to run crysis/mw2 on med-high settings(keeping in mind the 1200$ budget)?
It depends on how you like to game. If you like running full settings and such, your best and cheapest bet is to go with a desktop. But if you feel that you would be brining a laptop with you to various places, i.e. necessity, I'd go with that. But in order to run such games at full throttle, you may be forced to spend a bit more than $1200.
Personally, I prefer anything from Toshiba, Dell, or Asus, as they are pretty reliable. In regard to a decent processor, I'd shoot for something with the Intel i7-720m or i7-820m in it.
