i have a win 7 desktop that is wired to an hp printer and it works fine. i also have a win vista laptop that can connect to the win 7 via a router. i have shared the printer and c drive on the win 7. both computers are in the same work group. i can see the win 7 from the vista and open c drive. i can see the printer also but can't connect to it. any suggestions? thanks,
go in control panel/printer and faxes/right click -> add printer/the installation wizar will apeare
shoose "a network printer or a printer attached at an other pc"
u ll find the win7 pc normally u ll see the shared printer
but u need maybe to have the driver 4 the printer for vista
