Epson printer is showing up in my computer as a removable drive

Whats the deal. I have an eposn Photo RX-580 printer installed on this machine and it is showing up in my computer as a removable drive. I cant print the printer just fine and shows up as the primary printer for this computer. How do I get rid of the removable drive being displayed in my computer. it also causes some delay to display the other drives in this computer when I launch my computer.

Any suggestions anyone?

If the printer has slots for photo cards (SD etc) check there isn't one in a slot.

the printer probably has a built in card reader. you cant stop it showing up.

Try turning the printer off unless you need it!
