Hey, Sorry to ask but i really need some help as i have been trying to fix this problem for about 6 hours with no end in sight.

So heres the deal, I have a Macbook Pro (2012) iMac (2010) and Xbox 360 amongst several other wireless devices, but these are the main three, I also have a normal run of the mill desktop that runs ubuntu (the one i am on right now) that is connected to the netgear router by ethernet cable. Well the problem is this, the router seems to be working fine as it does seem to give me internet access (how else would i be writing this) and it does give a wireless signal out as every one of the devices mentioned pick it up, however when i try to connect to it the connection seems to automatically timeout. Please i am in need of help.

What can I do???

Just to clarify, your problem is that wireless devices are connecting but not getting internet access?

Could you please provide the make and model of your router,

Thanks

EDIT: I just realised that the title says its a netgear router, my bad. Which model?
