He basically got banned because a dozen of his threads were bumped up one night. He is not responsible for this action. He did not call anybody names anymore after his apology thread even though he repetitiously posted about Presscott sucking/overheating/or being delayed I personally don't beleive that is worthy of banning. The only time he would have deserved being banned was when he acted with insults and namecalling. I realize that Fredi is entitled to punt anyone he thinks neccessary for whatever reason. I also realize anything say probably won't change anything and that I'll probably be flamed for posting this. The Forum Dungeon would have been adequate enough measure to eliminate Pope's threads from the CPU section. Speaking of which, I guess this thread should be posted in the Other Forum.

Yes, I did find some of his actions very annoying at times, but lately he hasn't done anything that I would deem ban-worthy.

I agree, he was annoying but the ban was unnecessary IMO. RRamjet bumped the threads, not popey.

A popey post was always a fun thing to find when you got a break at work. Besides, if having your old posts bumped up is enough to get you banned, I could get a lot of you guys tossed out in a nights worth of work.

You Popey supporters absolutely being ridiculous. Have you ever heard of the OTHER forum? That place is made for laughter. Nevermind some dolt who creates a thread every few hours to talk about Prescott delayed. Some are even hypocrites here, complaining he was overdoing it and now suddenly they're all happy dandy he's back.

Get over it, Popey is nothing compared to AMD_Meltdown's trolling, he's got NOTHING. This place can have humor all it wants, but if it takes some guy screwing many threads with Intelliot exposing purposes, I am all for shutting his trap.

Yes, but what about the Forum Dungeon idea that one of the guys had? THat would have been alot of fun. THis ban popegoldx issue didn't get so fired up until his threads were resurrected from the dead by rramjet. He didn't contribute much as far as discussing technology, but he was improving. If there were a little subroutine in the THGC forum software that would reroute all popegoldx thread to the Forum Dungeon, that would be a terriffic solution. He overdid it yes, but I wouldn't say he posted a thread every few hours, maybe every couple of days would be more accurate. Still, his overdoing the Presscott or "PRESSHOTT" issue was becoming stale and I had gotten onto him a little bit about that a couple of times.

Ok, for the last time, the Forum Dungeon is the worst kind of half-arsed idea you can possibly come up with. That diminishes ANY kind of trolling purpose, and I guarantee you no loser troll will enjoy trolling in his own private forum. That's just downright illogical. Drop that idea, it's serious crap that makes no sense. If he wants to troll, at least do it right and give us laughter. Instead he chose redundancy, something most and me especially, cannot stand.

P.S.: I think Spitfire_x86 is the one to blame for coming up with the Forum Dungeon idea. I'm the one to blame for advocating and pushing it so heavily. You sounded a little bitter at me in that last post there. Your probably right though about Pope not changing. He's already resorted to old tactics and called you a "drag" in the other thread which I am not very pleased with.

actually i beleive it was flinx, but who cares, i think it is dumb, i really dont want to see any trolling posts or stand to be insulted by some dumbass 12 year olds, no matter where it is posted.
