Last night there was a big thunder near our house and I didn't even had the time to react and unplug the computer. Before I knew it, the computer turned off with a small light coming from the computer, then I heard the thunder.
Now when I try to start the computer it restarts immiedately after the boot screen (you know the screen that displays all the shortcuts like F6, F10 and whatnot)
Obviously something is wrong hardware wise, how would I troubleshoot this?
I can't even start the computer, safe mode doesn't work either. I don't want to replace the whole computer but I have no idea how to troubleshoot it. I don't want to pay extra stupid money just to get a troubleshoot when you can do it yourself.
How fihart said if ur componant are ok u need only to reinstall your pc or to just try a file system recovery by choosing repaire from the first screen choise from the installation menu/ and to choose your system partition/ and type this instruction :"chkdsk /p /r"
if dose not work then u ll choose repaire from the menu when the installation sequence detect a previous windows installation.
i hope is ok
if not make a new installation without to format your hard to keep your data
