On my sisters computer the display stays at 16 color/640 by 480 pixels. Whenever you change it, and you have to reboot the computer, it automaticaly goes back to the other settings, 16 color/640 by 480 pixels. It's so bad I can barely read posts in this forum. It's a intel 82810 onboard graphics controller, and KDS VS 77, 17" monitor. She has been having this problem for quite some time now. I have fixed the problem before, but it always starts acting up again. :frown: Is there anyone who knows what is causing this? She is also having a problem with the computer running really slow. I think that is her PSU. Very small for this system. I think it's only 150w. Can't really remember though. For now I'm gonna uninstall ME, and go back to 98se, and see if that helps anything.
