Is This All I Need To Build My PC?

Hey Tom's, I'm building my own PC soon and I'm just wondering if these are all of the parts I need to build them, and if all of these will work together.

So is there anything else I need? Do I need thermal compound? More Wires?
Sorry I'm kinda new to computer building

Everything looks good to me except that, since you're using a third-party CPU fan, you will most likely need thermal compound. My only experience is using stock coolers, which come with thermal compound/grease pre-applied. I've never used a third-party heatsink/fan, so I don't know if compound is included. But otherwise, those components should work together just fine. I notice, though, that you don't have a DVD drive listed. Unless you have that from another system, you'll need to purchase one to install the OS. (Unless you're intending to do it from a USB drive, but I assume not.)

Everything looks compatible.. Few pointers though.. I don't have much info on that PSU.. Are you sure its a good make.? For your build, the Corsair CX 400 or the Corsair VX 450 will be adequate (and also recommended).. Also, no point going for a dual core when you can get a true quad core (Athlon II X4 630) for almost the same price.. Also if you can, try to get a genuine AM3 board (any board based on the 8XX chipset)

always add compound no matter what one thing about amd if fan stop say good bye to your chip if it was a microsoft chip then just buy another fan the chip will still work

Microsoft doesn't make "chips" (CPUs)...

One thing most people do not consider is the "OS" to run the PC. In the to-buy list the OS would top my list followed by checking which parts would work well with my OS

For the MB I would agree with Emperus to get an AM3 board which would cost a few $$ extra.

and for the PSU I specifically like this as it has more warranty and more SATA power cables
