Will a power outage damage keyboards/mice?

My old PC has gone through several power outages. Is it safe to reuse these parts in my new system? I'd assume that a power outage wouldn't really harm the peripherals, right?

Yes, you should be fine. I've never heard of an outage or even a surge affecting low voltage peripherals like a keyboard or a mouse.

Should the speakers be fine too? They're pretty generic speakers.
