IMO, this review is better than the THG review. It's not 50+ page long, but the content is good. They haven't used overclocked P4's, and all graphs (except the Q3A graph has missing A64-FX bar) are fine (unlike THG graphs). They've used an overclocked 2.2 GHz A64 (754). It shows how unnecessary the A64-FX is.

I agree I thought Anand's was a much better review.
For the most Part the Athlon 64 did beat the P4 512k P4's with ease. What is more incredible was the performance difference from the athlon XP.

As for THe P4EE I was very surprised that the cache gave it such a boost in certain apps. Even with the Cache boost though I think it will be a fairly good fight. The P4 no longer has the FSB and Memory bandwidth advantages. When the 939pin version of the FX comes out with non EEC support that should give the Athlon yet another little boost. From what i'm seen on the reviews its very sensitive to memory Timings.

Some people say the p4 wins some so its not that great. I don't agree this chip has just been released. There will be much faster versions in the works so just sit back and hold tight.
