Canon i960 printer won't operate

Hello,
I keep getting the error (5 orange blinks) when trying to print. Cannot get printer to do a nozzle check or clean heads. Where do I go from here???? Printer is about 4 years old. Ink tanks are full.
Would appreciate any further input to get this printer going.

Depends how old the printer is -- if it's a fairly recent purchase, take it back to the dealer.

Personally, I've wasted enough of my life messing with inkjets that now I just tell people to dump them and buy a laser printer.
