Computer or pc freezes or stops randomly fan

Hello, My Toshiba tablet freezes
at random times. Had rtdrvmon.exe
in temp file and got rid of it;
however this file is probably connected with Lexmark software.Subsequently, updated AntiVirus(McAffee) and had a scan
performed. Used ccleaner. Used Registry Booster.
Downloaded avenger but it would not run on my machine. Went "by hand" through list of deletes and register changes suggested in this forum.
In Event Viewer
Application Layer Gateway Signals
and FLEX signals appear just before freeze.
