USB Transfer slow

Hi i have windows 7 64bit, i have updated all drives my usb HD is really slow like 7-8mb where i remeber when i first installed windows 7 it was in the 20mb's im not sure whats going on how do i confirm on windows 7 that its usb 2.0 working and not 1,0??

got to device manager & check USB controllers
