Now when i ran cpu z, it reported core speed of 1330 Mhz. But shouldn't my processor run at 2260MHz. Please advice. It's a feature called Speedstep, in the BIOS it shows as EIST. It basically throttles your CPU down when it isn't being used so as to cut down on heat output and energy use.
