GETTING BAD SECTORS AFTER ONLY A MONTH OF USE ON western digital notebook hard d

Hello,
I am a computer tech and work on all brands of computers. lately i have ran into a problem with western digital notebook drives. I replace a bad hard drive in a notebook with a new WD drive and been getting a lot of rework because the drives are failing after only a month. Is there anyone else having this problem with Western Digital? It only seems to be the notebook drives that are coming back with bad sectors.

Strange, as WD is usually pretty reliable. Have you given them a call and see if they have something to say about the issue?

They wouldn't comment when i called them. I just bet there was a bad batch of them that got shipped by mistake.
