Duty cycle epson c82 printer

EPSON C 82. Clean prints until sudden stop. 'End of service life,' message followed by me opening up machine. No blockages. 'General error' message now. Nothing seems broken. Plenty of ink. Top red and bottom green lights now blink continuously. Middle green light constant. How to resume until it does physically break down? Paired with an Apple Mac OS X 10.4.11 Any help appreciated.

Try getting in touch with Epson to see if there is a bypass option of sorts that you can select that would disable the ESL message.
