I have a ASUS A7V333 MOBO. Currently Running a XP 1700.

I have purchased a XP 2500. According to ASUS homeage I can run the CPU if I have the latest bios update which I do.

Problem is my lowest voltage setting is 1.70. The XP 2500 according to AMD's homepage wants a 1.65 setting.

Given that it is just a .05 difference.

Anyone here think I will have any major problems?

Thanks

You shouldnt have any issues.
Just make sure you have the latest bios installed and that the processor in question is supported (I belive it is).

Who knows the bios update may allow 1.65v usage, ut even if it doesnt 1.70v is ok... just slightly warmer.

On a side note, such a CPU will overclock really well, if thats your intention.
