I know this isn't the best place to put this but I might be building a new computer at the end of the month for around $700 to $800 dollars. And yes I already have a good moniter(17" Sceptre P73 CRT),Logitech scroll mouse, standard Mitsumi 101 keyboard, and speakers(2.1 Midiland MLI-SW190) from my old computer.
M.B.: Shuttle Motherboard for Intel Processors, Model# AB60N Chipset:Intel 865PE + ICH5 $88
Processor: 2.6 or 2.8 P4C (after 10/26/03) $178 or $218
Ram: 2X 256 Megs of Kinston PC 3200 $94
H.D.: 80 Gig 7200 RPM WD 8 MB Cache $75
Graphics Card: ATI 9700 Pro or 9800 Pro $252 or $300
CD Burner: 52X32X52X Lite-On $37
Case: ????? Need suggestions on a good case for about $50 w/ power supply.

Are you building a mini PC? I noticed your mobo was a shuttle. Will you overclock?

Two questions:

1) Is there a reason that you posted all of your planned system specs?

2) Is there a reason that you're only willing to spend $50 on a case and power supply combined for what is otherwise a reasonable upper middle-end system?

First of all, ditch the shuttle and find something else... really.

Here are a couple off pricewatch:
INTEL D865PERL 865PE PENTIUM 4 - 88.50
MSI 865PE Neo2-S - 91.00
ABIT IS7-E i865PE P4 - 94.00

Case wise, to keep in line with the rest of the components you need to get something DECENT and case+ps for 50$ is going to get you utter crap... and a bad PS is one of the worst nightmares you can experience.

Cheapest, DECENT thing I can find is this:

Antec Lanboy w/350w PS - 84.00 (Pricewatch/Newegg)

Sorry about that I forgot that shuttle made mini pc mb. That MSI on pricewatch looks to be a good mb. And about the case all I need is a simple beige case w/ dual front usb on it w/ a power supply that can handle the computer.

Nothing if you are building a micro/mini.
