It could be an indication of bad RAM (memory). Try removing the RAM and reseeding it in the laptop one stick at a time; see if that does the trick. If that doesn't do the trick, you may have to buy some new RAM. Report back to us if that isn't a go.

Thanks very much for that, have tried swapping before but no luck, will try new. Will let you know what happens.
