This needs to fly cause it's "The Wife's" Machine. Upgrading her to my Old P4-226 (533) from her old AMD800mhz with gobs of her precious stuff on it. Got a bad feeling XP will never let me in. Got it ghosted for data but would like to forgo loading & configuring tons of software etc. Anybody ever got by the blue screen that's saying it's keeping me from destroying my equip. (whew! they crack me up!) Been doing computer's for 20 years and seen it all but XP pisses me off the most. Try's to take all our options away. Any help will be appreciated. Please only reply is you've tried this successful or not or know for sure it can't be done.
