Best 26" or 27" Monitor up to $500

I'm going to use the monitor with the system below


I would like to buy a 26" or 27" monitor %70 usage for video editing watching movies , surfing etc and %30 for the gaming.I heard about the IPS technology but i dont know the detail about it.Can you recommend me some good monitor up to $500.

Currently there are no 26" - 27" IPS monitor selling for under $500. You can only get a TN panel monitor with that budget like the Asus VW266H. Here's a review:

If you have used inexpensive monitors in the past, then they were TN panel monitors so I'll assume you are aware of their viewing angle weakness.

Instead of going for a cheap 26"+TN panel monitor, get a better quality 24" IPS panel monitor.. Something like the HP LP2475W..

THe HP is good but I think you can get the Dell U2410 for cheaper. They are similar.
