if i was running a AMD ATHLON XP 2500+ 512K 333FSB and i had it OC to 13x174= 2.26ghz what kind of cooling would i need?

From my experience, SLK-800 with SmartFan II is more than enough for this kind of cooling.

I got my 2500+ to 2200 MHz (200 MHz fsb) with "only" a big swiftech and an ultra slow (2000 rpm ?) 80mm pabst fan. It does run kinda hot under full load though, but since its stable, I don't care too much

That thermalright slk 800 with a descent 80mm fan would do the trick.

I am running my Barton 2500+ at 11.5*200 (2.3GHz) on stock AMD cooler. The idle temp is about 49-50C and full load is about 55C.

And i dont think a 2500+ will run at multiplier set to 13 without a mod.

thanks for the help and yes i think it can ru at a 13 multuplier. i was reading it an NCIX.com and that what someone wqs running it at with the factory HSF.
