TECH: AFM Left Flipper Skill Shot Broke.

Okay, the gate no longer opens for a super skill shot when I hold the
left flipper down on ball fire in AFM.

So what did I break this time?

Any suggestions on where to start?

Go into solenoid test and see if the gate works. Maybe the spring that is
hooked to it has slipped out of position. LTG

yeah,
follow Lloyd's advice...if that doesn't work, start a new game, hold the
left flipper button down, see if the gate opens at all.
If it's not opening far enuff, the ball will obviously not pass under the
gate flap and you may need to adjust the spring, or replace it.
To find the spring, remove the glass and pull the pf all the way
forward....look at the backside of the back board, the springs poke up thru
a hole in the pf and pull down on the gate wire. Visually verify that the
coil is pulling the spring catch down by running the coil test again.

Is your shooter lane switch funtioning properly?
