Depends on what games you plan on playing personally i dont think the 5470 mobility will get it done in most games.

And whats your budget look like so we can maybe arrange to get you a more gaming oriented laptop.

They both have pretty much the same specs,the main difference is the HDD capacity,so if you need more HDD go for the second one otherwise go for the cheaper option.

so asside form the Hard drive you see no differences in the specs??

I thought the first post said the HDD's were both 500GB HDD? These specs look identical.

Oh I wanted to add I noticed variation of those model numbers in HDD size with a google product search. There may be multiple revisions of that hardware so make sure you take note that all K52JR-X5's are not the same. I hate that btw.

Also I think with a lowres display like that the gfx card will be ok for most games, but probably not extremely "future-proof."
