System recovery

I did a system recovery on my computer and lost all of my documents I had
saved under My Documents but all of my pictures in the Shared folder stayed.
Does anybody know if there is a way for me to recover all of my documents?

FreeUndelete is a freeware data recovery program for deleted files.

You seem to have used the OEM "System Recovery" CD which erases and restore
the hard drive back to the original setup when it left the factory. If you
can can "undelete" the files, then you are out of luck.

Actually when my computer starts up there options on the bottom of the screen
and one of them was f10 system recovery. That is what I did. It went back to
the way it was when I left the store after they installed some programs into
it. All of my shared pictures stayed but all of my documents were gone. What
do you mean by if I can undelete them?
