Qb64 to windows7pro

i had a pro shop to transfer my files and data from my old computer which had a windows xp os and 32 bit to my new one which has windows 7pro os 64 bit . they downloaded qb64 onto my new system and transferred my qb45 programs and data but when i open the programs i get illegible machine language which i can't understand or use. the pro shop that did this does not know how to change this into text so that i can use my new system nor do they know what qbasic is so I don't believe that they can help me, although they promised that for more money they can fix this problem and restore my system to one that I can use. i don't want to pay them more money since I no longer trust them. can you help me with this?
