slow Portable Keyboard wth TT3

My Palm Portable Keyboard (PPK), the one that folds away and is made by
ThinkOutside, is just about unusable using my Tungsten T3. But using a Palm
M505 it works fine. By unusable I mean it exhibits what the archive
newsgroups seem to say happened around 2000/2001 when with the early drivers
you could type away and there was a delay before the characters caught up on
the screen. No characters go missing but it just takes time to see then and
if you are as bad at typing as I am them you don't see your mistakes until
you are way past them. (Hope that makes sense).
I've fitted new drivers from the ThinkOutside web site and also from the
PalmOne site (its not clear what either of them are recommending) but it
still is painfully slow. But as I say its okay with the M505.
Anyone any idea what's going on here? Anyone experience with the PPK and the
TT3?
If you do and don't have this problem what drivers have you installed?
Needless to say the websites are unhelpful.
Thanks for any help
Dave

You need to update the driver. I have a PPK and it works great with my
T3.

As I clearly said, I have installed all the latest drivers from the PalmOne
and ThinkOutside websites that exist today.
They are all slow.
If you are saying your similar installation works okay then what version
/date/source is it?

Thanks Jim but I've already tried versions 1.9.2 and 2.2 and 2.4 and 2.1.5T
which is the latest I could find at ThinkOutside.Couldn't find 2.3.1T
anywhere.
They all give so slow performance with the TT3 but all are perfect with the
M505.
Is this an OS5 issue, or do you think I my have some software causing a
conflict.
Anyone any ideas?
Thanks
Dave
