I have tried google, but can't find a conclusive answer. Does anyone know whether Dell
model M991 (black) is a 17" or 19" monitor, or maybe both ?

Thanks in advance,

Best to try Dell when looking up a Dell product. You can find the
M991 here

It is definitely a 19" color monitor, although it shows the color as
ivory. My M992 monitor is black.

19" - the first 9 indicates the screen szie. If it was 17" it'd be M791 as
an example.
