I wasn't sure if this was the right newsgroup to post this but thought I
would try.
1] How do you add a folder to the Start>Programs menu so I can combine some
of the Programs. The list is quite long.
2] I haven't been able to find a backup program. WindowsXP doesn't have one
like Windows98 did?
I have a few programs on a floppy disk I world like to install.
Thanks in advance for any help.

The Backup utility is not included in the default installation of Windows XP
Home Edition.

HOW TO: Install Backup from the CD-ROM in Windows XP Home Edition:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;q302894

If however you're looking for the Windows XP backup program to restore a
backup made with the Windows 98 backup program, sadly that won't work.

You can use Stomp's BackUp MyPC to work with those Windows 98 backups. A
good all around backup program that allows you to backup directly to optical
media, CDR or DVDR. (something else Windows XP's backup program can't do)

http://www.stompsoft.com/backupmypc.html A trial download is available.

Home has the backup program as well however it is not installed
automatically. To install follow the instructions on this site...
