some applications start with low priority????

I dont know why this is happening but some applications start in low
priority (below normal) and they are slow....
I dont do anything in perticular.. I just launch them normaly from their
icon.

Any one know WHY this may be happening and how to fix it?

Which programes are the ones that do this?
