i got a pic from the assclown ironbowl of me and steph standing in front of some kinda nascar(dont remember which one it is; but it was at the sports illustrated tent.)

I never liked him!!!! The day he got killed, he was banging on a guy & I was hollering, Put him in the wall, Put him in the wall!!!! For several laps!!!! Finally he got put in the wall, I jumped up & was hollering Yea!!!! Yea!!!!!!! So was my son... Later we found out he'd died in the wreck..... Made me feel a tad sad that day.... But it didn't take away all the years I had wish for him to have his comeupins!!!!!!

i was working at buffalos bar and grille and i remember the exact moment because a cajun cook who worked there with me was so distraught that he died he took two weeks off, cajun bastard :frown: i had to make for all his work cuz of some guy dying.... that put a big damper on me and nascar. i dont hate it but i dont like either ya know?

Too bad...

I grew up wanting to race for the cup!!! I raced everywhere I could afford... I could never get enough $$$ at that age to get a race car... I used to watch my cousins run hobby stock.. I'd go to the track with them.. Sometimes I'd get to do a hot lap in the car... Best feeling I ever had racing!!! One of my other cousins had a dragster... His Dad had a lot of time & $$$ into it helping him, so he got to race... I went to the track with them, but my first love was stock cars & still is... I raced moto cross a full season, because I'd gotten out of the service, had no kids & could afford a wicked bike.... After that one season, I had my first Son... That's where my racing went... Don't get me wrong, my Family has outlasted a stock career, but I can't help looking back & wondering, what could have been, what should have been for me, really!!!!

So now I ride the dog sh-t out of my sled & still dream of that stock career, even today....
