Hi,

I want to be able to work offline after disconnecting from our office
network (syncronize files).

When I open My computer / Tools / Options / Work offline tab (rightmost tab)
all of this page's options are grayed out. I need to activate 'Work
Offline', why is this grayed out and how can I enable it?

Please not that I use a national version of xp so the actual english
captions may differ from what i mention here ;-)

Thanks a bunch for a quick reply here

Doug

Did you read what was on the grayed out area?

[[You cannot use offline files.

This can occur if the Fast User Switching feature is enabled. You cannot use
fast user switching when you use offline files. To disable the Fast User
Switching feature:
1. Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
2. In Category view, click User Accounts.
3. Click Change the way users log on or off.
4. Clear the Use Fast User Switching check box, and then click Apply
Options.
5. Quit User Accounts, and then quit Control Panel. ]]
