Anyone know about when we will get some hard information on what the new prices will be with the Intel price drop today? I was guessing monday to see the results. I've been wanting to order a new cpu/mobo this week and wanted to hold out for the price drop to get best performance/price whether it be AMD or Intel.

Here you go my good man. The typical price drop target for high-end: 417$.

Very nice prices for the 2.8 and 3.0GHZ too.
I am looking forward to see AMD add some K8 CPUs on the list to lower the current ones into mainstream prices.

All in all, great holiday price drops. Not sure if purchases/upgrades are that justified though, especially on the Athlon FX side of things with its short run socket.
