I have decided on 3.0 pentium processorw/800bus for my upgrade.I have bought computers through compusa and compact before. now im ready to buy a new computer. I am wondering if when i go on pricewatch are thier different model versions of the 3 gig pentium(example northwood a or b) or are they all the same I want the best i can get im not worried about the cash?what is the single best combo for my choice i was looking at the p4c800 deluxe mobo is this the best mobo to go with the processor i picked out?I am looking at cpu\mobo combos and I want the best i can get as far as performance with as many options i can get I like msi, asus, gigabyte products.
Many venders use A, B, C to designate BUS SPEED, A=QDR400, B=QDR533, C=QDR800. The 800 bus gives you a significant performance advantage. There was no 3.0A, and the B was a 3.06.
