I am wanting to install a new heatsink on my cpu and need to know how i get off the old thermal paste. I have heard some people use rubbing alcohol. I have some, but it is wintergreen scented so would that create a problem? any help is appreciated.

Try to get 100% alcohol. The whole point afterall, is to clean as much of the contimation as possible, and not to introduce new ones (ie scent).

Oh baby yeah.
