how can i restore my compaq laptop with windows 7 if i cant restart in restore mode

Hi. If you want to restore to factory settings, press F2 when starting to enter the bios change the start order to Boot from CD first. Put in your Compaq restore disc, restart and follow the instructions. If you do not have a restore disc Press F10 when starting and choose the option for a factory reset. You could also get someone to burn a System Repair disc from their computer by going to Control Panel\System and Security\Backup and Restore.
