PC to HDTV Mitsubishi 3D ready 1080p issues

Hello,
I've tried multiple techniques from this site and have yet to find an answer. So I'm hoping if i give my specs i can get some help.
I have a 65" Mitsubishi 3D ready HD DLP television that I am trying to hook up through HDMI to my AMD A8 apu processor. 4 gigs of ddr3 ram, asus motherboard. Drivers are installed, although i may have gone overboard with rage earlier. I'm hoping i gave enough info on the specs...now onto what happens.
It starts up fine. I can go in safe mode just fine. the BIOS shows up and everything. Log in screen doesn't show up and it says "invalid format" on the t.v. I cant get a picture pretty much, where it counts. BUT!!!!! If i have a dual screen setup i can get a picture (although I don't need a monitor and a 65" side by side).
Any help is appreciated, also it's Windows 7 Ultimate OS.
AMD A8 apu
Asus motherboard
4 gigs ddr3
600 watt psu....
lemme know if I'm missing something!
