More Information

This supplier is expecting a 3700+ next month, and a FX55 (!!) in december !

They got the clockspeeds wrong though, a FX51=2.2, FX53=2.4 and the FX55 should be 2.6. A FX55, especially with unregistered ram ought to run circles around a 4 GHz Prescott. Running AMD64 binaries under Windows XP will add insult to injury.

So where is the unavailability annoucement of a 4 MB L3 "Ultimate Edition" and a 8 Mb L3 P4 "Unreal Edition" to counter this ? Intel is dead, Pentium is gong to become a synonime for Celeron. Slow, cheap, outdated. Buy AMD stock now !
