Using XP professional built in fax program

I have a Zoom V.92 PCI voice Faxmodem on a Asus A7N8X-E motherboard.

In the XP and modem power management properties, the check box allowing the
modem to bring
computer out of standby is enabled.

In the ASUS BIOS, the Power Up on PCI device and Power up on Ext. Modem are
enabled

But when the system is in standby, modem call is unanswered and system
remains in
standby

Works fine when system is not in standby

What am I doing wrong

Did you go to Device Manager/Modem/Properties and enable it there?
