System Restore Points Vanish

Please help:
What happens is that "Restore Points" created by "System Restore" or
manually by myself suddenly vanish. You can then start it again but they will
disappear again. I had them working for about a week then they were gone. The
other day it lasted for one day.

I found several Event Viewer errors regarding SR. I'm enclosing some for
your review. They are all the same. Could the following be the cause of the
problem?

Thank you

Hi,

The event error message indicates that 'pcclient.exe' is interfering with the System
Restore filter driver. Pcclient.exe is a file that belongs to Trend Micro Internet
Security. I would suggest downloading the latest version of this program, uninstall it and
reinstall the latest version. Then test System Restore.

How to test System Restore:

Check the HD space destinated to System Restore.

More information:

System Restore "restore points" are missing or deleted
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;301224

I've also seen problems with System Restore in computers with Real One Player installed.

Pcclient.exe is installed by some Trend Micro applications, go to Trend Micro website (www.trendmicro.com) and upgrade your software from this vendor. It might be interfering with System Restore.
